USound GmbH
USound GmbH based in Graz, Austria is owned by its principal investors and by its founders who are experienced veterans in the MEMS industry. The company was registered as GmbH, i.e. company with limited liability, on February 27, 2014. USound designs, develops and markets high-tech, innovative and highly integrated audio products (micro-speakers, microphones) based on a new piezoelectric MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) technology. USound holds several IPs for this new approach for miniature audio solutions, some of them together with the Fraunhofer ISIT. USound has currently three business locations, MEMS development in Itzehoe, Germany, Acoustic R&D in Vienna, Austria and electronic R&D and the headquaters in Graz, Austria. The international, fast growing team of about 30 people include spanish, french, british, german and austrian engineers.
