Introduction of the FF4EuroHPC

On 6th October, CESGA participated in a networking session with Telecommunications Engineers of Galicia (Spain). Participants received general information on the FF4EuroHPC project, on the EuroCC initiative and were inspired by success stories from the previous Fortissimo editions. On 6-7th October the online event "The future of companies - organizations face digital technologies" was organized by SME/HPC project consortium within Erasmus+ strategic project. The event was attended by up to 80 participants and had the aim of networking and sharing experiences in the field of advanced technologies, with organizations from all over Europe. Participants were representatives of SMEs, research centers, public authorities, public sector organizations, higher education institutions. As one of the project partners and a presenter of a real case study, Arctur took the opportunity to present the FF4EuroHPC project and to pre-announce the FF4EuroHPC open call. As the FF4EuroHPC supports SMEs and encourages them to shift their business by using advanced HPC services, the Teratec´s presentation of the FF4EuroHPC project activities perfectly fits to IdéO Workshops purposes. During these workshops that were carried out online, 7-9th October, academic experts were able to orient their future research to respond to concrete problems made explicit by industry; industrialists were able to learn about the state of the art and the long-term visions presented by academics, while SMEs had the opportunity to present their offer to integrators and vertical users. Teratec introduced the FF4EuroHPC project at the Teratec Forum, which is a major yearly event in France bringing together the best international experts in HPC, Simulation and Big Data and was held 13-14th October online. More information is available here.

On October 23, Tomi Ilijaš, Arctur´s CEO, presented the FF4EuroHPC project and pre-announced the FF4EuroHPC open call at Milocer Development Forum 2020 as part of the panel Supporting Digitalization Processes in SMEs. This Forum is a yearly event, and was this time organised as an online event by Association of Economists and Managers of Montenegro, Universiy of Donja Gorica and Baltic Management Development Association.
