BSC-CNS serves as the Spanish national supercomputing facility since 2005. BSC has collaborated with industries such as Iberdola, Repsol, ITPAero, SEAT and Airbus as well as numerous SMEs. Within the BSC, Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (CASE) Department develops computational tools for simulating complex coupled problems in massively parallel supercomputers like ALYA. Within CASE, the Large-Scale CFD group focuses on numerical tools, turbulence models, multi-physics algorithms, data-driven methods and large-scale industrial simulations, such as aeronautics, automotive, wind energy and pollution prediction in urban areas.
